World of Warcraft Leveling

Here is a basic WoW strategy guide.

Always play your character rested. Rested characters get twice as many experience points (XP) from defeating any mobs that you encounter. By recharging your character’s rested bonus to the maximum level over a couple of days, you can potentially complete several quests and gain the double XP bonus the whole time. So remember, the rested bonus is your friend. Why waste time if you don’t have to?

Green quests are your goal. They give the best bang for the buck and are simple to do. You’ll tend to die more often if you attempt to do quests rated yellow or higher. You’ll also wind up having to repair your armor more frequently, which is time wasted.

Do not any do instances when you are leveling up. Running instances does not get you the same amount of experience as simply doing quests. It’s appealing for some of the items, but it’s slower.

Do multiple quests at the same time. Each time you enter a new area, try to grab as many new quests as you can. Try to cluster quests together that end in the same place. Just take a look at the quest information. Going back and forth between zones for quests is a pain and this approach will save you a lot a time and aggravation.

Travel to other zones. If you have completed all the easier quests in your own race’s zones, do not be afraid to travel to another part of the continent or even to the other continent to aim at those easy green quests. You will find that the extra XP from completing so many quests quickly will turn you into a power leveler in no time.
